Video Contest Rules

Contest run by Creative Home Engineering LLC

Eligibility: 

Contest is open to all purchasers or owners of any secret passageway door from hiddendoorstore.com.  Only 1 contest entry per door will be considered, but each entry may consist of multiple videos.

Prizes:

1. The applicant who provides the best videos will be awarded the grand prize equal to the full amount paid for their secret door (less freight). 

How winners will be chosen:

The contest seeks to highlight the quality and beauty of the hidden passageways created by the Hidden Door Store.  Winning videos will be selected by Creative Home Engineering based on how well they portray the product and how suitable and effective they will be for future marketing and advertising efforts.  

Rules:

1. Each entry must include a clear video in a 9:16 aspect ratio, showing the secret door in use. However, consideration will be given for multiple videos that show the door in other positions or from other vantage points when deemed that the additional images are visually impressive and may be suitable for future marketing purposes.  
2. The product should be shown installed in an opening.  The surroundings should be included in the image to add context.  In some cases, the secret door may comprise only a small portion of the area of the video.
3. All videos should show 100% finished environments.  Walls should be painted, floors installed, decoration and furniture included.  Secret doors with shelves should have the shelves populated.  Quality lighting is strongly encouraged.
4. Participants are encouraged to include up to 5 videos taken from different vantage points and zoom levels and positions (ie. closed, ajar, fully open) though only 1 video is required.
5. Video enhancements are allowed.  These may include filters, color correction, blemish removal, or other digital effects. 
6. By entering the contest, participants attest to having the rights to use and distribute all submitted videos and agree that all submitted videos may be used by Creative Home Engineering for advertising purposes.
7. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
8. Must be at least 18 years old to enter.
9. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify, at their sole and absolute discretion, any submission that does not adhere to these criteria and to the intent and substance of these Official Contest Rules. 
10. In the event of any question or difference of views regarding compliance with, interpretation, or application of these content requirements or other provisions of these Official Contest Rules, Contest Sponsors reserve the exclusive right to resolve such questions or differences of views at their sole discretion. 

Timeline:  

There is no predetermined date by which the contest will end.  The winners of the contest will be chosen from the first 25 participants, so the contest ends immediately upon receipt of the 25th entry.  One winner will be selected, so the odds of winning are exactly 1 in 25.  The winning entrants will be notified by email within 1 week of the end of the contest.
